Mendota Hills Campground welcomes you to join us this year for more fun and relaxation. Our driveway is far enough off of Rt. 52 that is is virturally no road noise. We are looking forward to seeing our old friends again and welcoming new ones as well. We offer you 130 Acres of rolling hills nestled in an Oak Tree Forest that encompasses the whole camp. Our facilities include a Swimming Lake with a Sand Beach where you can cool off on the hot summer days, three separate lakes for Fishing (fishing license is not needed here), Row Boating , and a Golf Driving Range to practice your swing on. Sign up to try your hand at one of our organized Horseshoe Tournaments too. Our Activity Barn is also the perfect place for Dances, and Fun Fairs. The centrally located Activity Center plays host to our weekly Bingo games where children are always welcome, and also, enjoy your favorite Board Games or visit the Sunday morning non-denominational Worship Service. Immediatley following the Service is a bring your own food potluck. The Camp Store, which includes basic Grocery items, Hand dipped Ice Cream, Soda, Firewood, Ice, and an Arcade Room with a Billiard Table is a relaxing place to mingle. Relax & Enjoy the Outdoors

Enjoy a serene walk in nature on one of the many wooded Hiking Trails throughout the campground. Feel free to enjoy the various Wild Berries growing along the paths while they are in season, or step lightly while watching for the Deer and Wild Turkeys that abound in our woods. A Self-Guided Nature Trail has also been added to help you learn to identify the various plants and wild flowers indiginous to the area.

The woods on our property contain one of the most diverse collections of plantlife in the State.

Join us for a weekend of fun and activities which include free Hayrack Rides each Saturday evening for the entire family, our Sunday morning Frog Jumping Contest for the kids, Craft Projects Saturday mornings at 11:00 that the kids love, Beach Games for the kids, family Potluck Dinners, Bingo for the entire family, Fishing Contests, participate in our Chili Cook-Off, and much more. Returning in 2010....the 3rd Annual Sugar Fest where we celebrate our craving for sweets by holding a Desserts ONLY potluck dinner, complete with judging of dessert entries and prizes. Kids Frog Jumping Contests On Sunday Free Hay Rack Rides For The Entire Family

In keeping with a long standing tradition at Mendota Hills, every Sunday morning, everyone assembles in front of the store for the Frog Jumping Contest. Kids bring the frog they caught the night before and we see who has the liveliest jumper. Naturally, we award prizes to the kids, so make sure you bring a flash light and net when you come.
